The Process

Transforming the room into a multifunctional studio involved a thoughtful interior design process focused on maximizing both functionality and tranquility. The first step was decluttering and reconfiguring the layout to create distinct zones for work, yoga, and relaxation while maintaining an open, airy flow.

Initially, the room served as a bedroom for a former roommate, but now Victoria wanted to maximize the use of her apartment by transforming this small yet charming space to suit her personal needs. This shift allows her to create a functional and inviting area that reflects her lifestyle, making the most of every square foot in her home.

The home office area was outfitted with a minimalist desk and ergonomic chair, paired with sleek storage solutions to keep the space organized. Adjacent to this, a cozy corner was dedicated to yoga and meditation, featuring a soft rug, a few natural fiber cushions, and a low-profile shelving unit for essentials like candles and plants, accentuating the Scandinavian emphasis on simplicity and natural materials.

The grounded color palette, combined with natural light and subtle pops of muted greens and blues, enhanced the calm and inviting atmosphere, ensuring the space supports productivity, mindfulness, and comfort.
